On Friday the 13th 2025, Women in Localization – Greece Chapter hosted the insightful “Riding the Audiowave” event at Metropolitan College.
In a welcoming and warm atmosphere, attendees explored the current and future challenges of the dubbing industry, with thought-provoking presentations and discussions.
Our COO, Liza Chrysochoou, joined a dynamic panel of industry professionals, focusing on the rapid progress of AI technologies and the continuing, irreplaceable role of human factor.
The panel, hosted by Yota Georgakopoulou (Athena Consultancy), also featured Vicky Kaoula (Power Media Productions), Domna Leontakianakou (TANWEER), and Sofia Tsaka (Sierra).
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Nefeli Antopoulou, Chapter Manager of Women in Localization – Greece Chapter, followed by a remarkable presentation by Stavroula Sokoli, Senior Researcher and Subtitler.
